My eclipse experience

My eclipse experience was awesome, it was so beautiful the way it became dark outside. Once it got dark the temperature dropped also. Me and my friends went to the eclipse viewing at the stadium on campus. They were numerous of people out there that didn't attend the school or drove hours just to see the eclipse.  The coolest part about the eclipse was the glasses. Thier very dark I thought that I wouldn't be able too see anything with them on but it was very cool watching the eclipse move away from the sun bringing light and heat back. Stadium on campus.

       I was expecting it to be much longer. Approximately 2:43 pm the eclipse covered the sun and it started to get dark like it was night time. It actually felt weird being outside in the day time and it was dark.

Final Blog Post

This course was interesting i learned about in a short period of time. Having Mr. Harwood as an instructor made it even more fun because of how made the lesson for the class. I've learned about twitter, Linkedin, Prezi, Green Screening, Kizoa, and how to do a classmate feature story.

My twitter username is VictorCruzBoy  i have over 600 hundred followers on twitter. Linkedin is a very interesting site. LinkedIn is a social networking site designed specifically for the business community. The goal of the site is to allow registered members to establish and document networks of people they know and trust professionally. It is essential that professionals keep us with their Linkedin because it's companies out there that are looking for workers based off your status.

Prezi was what I liked best about the class. Prezi is a visual storytelling software alternative to traditional slide-based presentation formats. Prezi presentations feature a map-like, schematic overview that lets users pan between topics at will, zoom in on desired details, and pull back to reveal context. I used prezi to describe my top 10 Michael Jordan Sneakers. I liked moving the objects around on the screen to place them in order. They also have lots of templets to choose from. What I didn't like about prezi was nothing. This was my favorite all year.

The Green Screen Project was a lot of fun. This project involved finding a place of somewhere you wanted to be, then taking a normal picture and then collide them together to make one picture. I learned how to combine pictures together. The Green Screen Project can be used for photo shopping dealing with books or magazines. It can also be used for young kids for Christmas photos. Working with Kizoa was a lot of fun. Kozia is a website that allows you to embed photos and edit them with all kinds of animations,effects, and text and music. It's very simple to work with, just embed photos then follow the steps to making your slideshow by animating and naming slides. It can be used to make slide shows for any classes. I liked the different effects that you can use to edit photos. I didn't like how may animations there were, I felt it could have been more to choose from. My creation was nice, I found 10 bulldogs and I also named them and animated them.

Classmate feature story was very interesting as well. The assignment was for you to interview a student by learning about this person and their background and putting their whole life story in your own words. The person my feature story was on was Ms. Lynn McGrier she's a very nice person and we both has simular backgrounds.

This course was very fun, i learned so much in so little time. Every class i came ready to learn because the class was just that interesting. A good thing that I will take from this class is what to do in a interview. I learned that in a interview you must always ask questions, that's how the job will know that you are interested in knowing more about the company. 

I think a way the course can be improved is spending more time on assignment details just so that students can have a clear understanding on the task at hand. That's it I really enjoyed this class if I could take it again I would. 

Bulldog Hunt

I had lots of fun working with kozia it was very fun because of the different and funny effects you can choose from to edit the photos.

Green Room

This was an interesting project. The taking pictures in the green room gives the photos more life. As you can see i took a photo of me sitting down watching my watch. The photo that i found was the famous artist Rihanna. Combining the pictures, i was sitting on her bed waiting on her.

Pinterest

Pinterest is a social network that allows users to visually share images or videos to their own or others' boards and browsing what other users have pinned. Pinterest is a place to organize and share online images you find interesting or inspiring. Once uploaded or shared on Pinterest, these images become known as Pins, which the user can place on customized, themed Boards.

You can create Boards for any topic imaginable It developed in 2009 by the founder  Ben Silbermann. Common ways people use pinterest to view images they like, that maybe other viewers would like also connecting them in a way. Another common way pinterest is used through selling things. Some people may have items that they would like to sell. Uploading the item onto pinterest, interested viewers can contact the seller.

Breaking down my three boards I have people that I want to meet, Cars that i want to drive, and places I would like to go. Pinterest provides an array of categories that inspire us to dress in a way we hadn't thought of before, to try new recipes, to organize our lives, to be motivated to live healthy and exercise, for DIY projects, for home design tips, and much, much more, that's what i really liked about pinterest. What i disliked about pinterest was surfing through the many pages of Pinterest is that it can waste a lot of time. I also liked if you were trying to sell items, pinterest was a good site for selling things.

Twitter

I actually just started back using twitter. Twitter is a service for friends, family, and coworkers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent messages. People post Tweets, which may contain photos, videos, links and up to 140 characters of text. Watching the interview on Twitter was very interesting.

The inventor of twitter is Jack Dorsey, he is from St. Louis Missouri. He really made it easier to Entertain and Advertise. He consider himself to be shy, but twitter is really outstanding. He also has a company called square to help people spend money everywhere. Square is now being use world wide such as craigslist, barbershops etc. Jack Dorsey has made it easy for people to receive feedback from tweets.

The negative about twitter that I don't like is the 140 character limit. A couple people I follow on twitter is Ambitious_Que because i played sports with him in High School and he's a good friend. I follow asap rocky to get a laugh everyday at things he tweet. And I also follow Lebron James for a sense of motivation.
