Pinterest

Pinterest is a social network that allows users to visually share images or videos to their own or others' boards and browsing what other users have pinned. Pinterest is a place to organize and share online images you find interesting or inspiring. Once uploaded or shared on Pinterest, these images become known as Pins, which the user can place on customized, themed Boards.

You can create Boards for any topic imaginable It developed in 2009 by the founder  Ben Silbermann. Common ways people use pinterest to view images they like, that maybe other viewers would like also connecting them in a way. Another common way pinterest is used through selling things. Some people may have items that they would like to sell. Uploading the item onto pinterest, interested viewers can contact the seller.

Breaking down my three boards I have people that I want to meet, Cars that i want to drive, and places I would like to go. Pinterest provides an array of categories that inspire us to dress in a way we hadn't thought of before, to try new recipes, to organize our lives, to be motivated to live healthy and exercise, for DIY projects, for home design tips, and much, much more, that's what i really liked about pinterest. What i disliked about pinterest was surfing through the many pages of Pinterest is that it can waste a lot of time. I also liked if you were trying to sell items, pinterest was a good site for selling things.

Twitter

I actually just started back using twitter. Twitter is a service for friends, family, and coworkers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent messages. People post Tweets, which may contain photos, videos, links and up to 140 characters of text. Watching the interview on Twitter was very interesting.

The inventor of twitter is Jack Dorsey, he is from St. Louis Missouri. He really made it easier to Entertain and Advertise. He consider himself to be shy, but twitter is really outstanding. He also has a company called square to help people spend money everywhere. Square is now being use world wide such as craigslist, barbershops etc. Jack Dorsey has made it easy for people to receive feedback from tweets.

The negative about twitter that I don't like is the 140 character limit. A couple people I follow on twitter is Ambitious_Que because i played sports with him in High School and he's a good friend. I follow asap rocky to get a laugh everyday at things he tweet. And I also follow Lebron James for a sense of motivation.

Linkedin

LinkedIn is a social networking site designed specifically for the business community. The goal of the site is to allow registered members to establish and document networks of people they know and trust professionally.

It's really popular because that's how people network with other people that they don't even know. By looking at someone Linkedin profile, it's easily to find others similar to you. Features that i like about Linkedin is staying up to date with an Industry. You have instant access to every upcoming trend or idea that is being talked about right now. Its a fast way to establish personal credibility. And it also enhances your visibility on things, which helps tremendously. 

Scrolling across a couple people that i am now friends with I noticed a couple negative and positive things. On one person page i I noticed this lady running a home business but her profile picture was of her cat. On another page i saw this guy that has his own trucking business but his profile picture is his family. Both of these are negatives because viewers don't take the business serious because of the image.  A positive I saw was this guy with his own car washing business, his profile image was a video of him washing a car. This shows credibility and honesty that he does his own work. I will try to make sure that my linkedin in clear and not misunderstood to the public. Check out my linkedin page right here.

Who am I

I am Dominque Markel Bryant all the way from Lake City, SC. I am a 22 year old Sports Communication Major at South Carolina State University. My classification is a senior so have lots of plans and goals to accomplish. I plan on being a professional football scout, grading players on there skills and reporting the results. I'm also into music and fashion. Many look at me and think, there's no way he can sing or rap, which is hilarious. I'm very picky when it comes down to shoes and clothes. I also consider myself to be a very wise, strong minded person.
